Nice to be on the board and posting for the first time, other then you know, just lurking around soaking up all the Tech info I can get.

Well enough about that, I come from the wonderful area of the Southeast TN were the winters are mild the summers are warm, and for some reason it's always humid out 24/7-365.

I'll be here on and off again looking for guidance and help getting my Wildcat back up to snuff as time and money permit. It needs light body work, possible wiring patches, and the DANG AC fixed, but other then that she uses/loses 0 oil, runs smooth and shifts great, and gets 20+ mpg on the Interstate at 70 mph. :D
Don't think I'm lying on that I recently did a 500 mile weekend drive in 90+ degree heat and averaged over 20 mpg the whole time.

She may not be the best looking to some but damn it I've fallen hard for her.

So when I need it, I'd greatly appreciate any and all help in steering me in the right direction to keep this classic family sedan on the road for many more years and miles to come.

Welcome, with a little elbow grease and some nice hub caps or Buick Rallye wheels you have a nice looking car. This forum can be a great help as well as the Buick Club of America web site and their forum.

Welcome from Oxford, Ga. I used to work in Dalton; occasionally ventured into Nooga and Cleveland; my second GS came from Cleveland.

Welcome from Miami, FL! ...where thick humid air seems to be the constant norm (fairly new here...). 20mpg!!! WHOA...that's good. My '71 Skylark topped out at 12 on a good day with a tail wind...and my 70 GS gets a healthy 9 or so... of course nothing I own is economy of fuel... heh!

65 was well before they started dabbling in smog stuff so 20MPG doesn't surprize me one bit.

Nice car a d will be great when you get a few things finished up on her.

I just had a dummy say no one wanted a 4 door, funny all they sell today it seems.
