71-72 sport mirror parts

Does anyone know where to just get the mirror, mines are all beat up and want to replace them. I think people have gone to a glass shop and had them cut but what should I ask for and what is the best way to re-glue \ mount them? I really don't mind if they don't have a date code but would like the to look correct. Thanks

 

I'm not sure where to get the glass cut, but, you might ask your local glass & mirror shop, body shop or upholstery shop where they have it done. If you break your original I can send you L& R templates I have - taken from NOS glass. Do a Google search - lots of places come up.

Get the glass for sport mirrors for a 70+ Camaro / Firebird. You Can get the passengewr side either flat or curved. I got mine from National Parts Depot several years ago.

 

I think they go to carlisle I'll have to check them out thanks for the ideas was never sure if all sport mirrors were the same across gm divisions.

Rock Auto has mirror glass for Camaro . Look under the Body category , then outside mirror glass

 

Bath & Mirror guys will do it. Mine was perfect.
