Very easy installation, no mod what so ever. Light out put is 10x brighter then stock.

Wow.... I'm loving this. The benefits of living down south, all year round driven, so this upgrade was needed. After adjusting the aim the wife and i went for a ride. This is the best time of the year for driven with the top down. Thanks Ops for this helpful thread...

It is, very impressive, and it uses less energy to boot, Win-Win. Looks like the headlight housings are currently not available from Amazon?

Aren't the LED lights brighter than the Halogens?

That's what they say....But have yet to see a difference. Don't see them making a difference in a conventional headlight housing. The newer vehicle are designed for LED.

What did Greg use? LED or Halogen? Don't the Halogen create more heat and use more energy necessitating the relay harness?

Halo do create more heat... But. LEDs emit a white light that sucks in comparison to the Holo use of a yellow tinted beam that the human eye is more comfortable with.

Greg did use LED and had to use a wire harness for the high beam side. I like the idea of the new wire harness so not to tax the old oem headlight harness.

I'll see what i can do tonight for you Larry. Need to find a dark wall around here like Greg did.
Keep in mind that which ever direction you go, be it Halogens of LED's, it will be a big improvement over stock.
