My 482 also had 25cc piston (autotec) dish. With the 6.8 rod, .040 gasket and 0 deck, mine ended up at 10.8 SCR

Ill be watching for updates. How do you plan on running it? Mostly street? race? both? I have no idea on cam numbers yet. any info I can get from yours is appreciated as a starting point.

As far as cams goes I truly believe in getting ahold a good designer/grinder and letting them spec one out to fit the build specifically for your motor. This will get you the best results. If your heads are soft on the exhaust flow they can help crutch it up. If you need to bleed some pressure off they can do that.

Who would you recommend as a designer/grinder??

Bobb from finishline used Scott Brown from Michigan for my cam. Scott can be tough to reach 1 on 1 so going through someone he knows and does work for often might get quicker results.

I had Chris Straub in Tennessee do a cam for the 502 we built and am happy with it too
