Site works for me too. Here's their phone # if anyone wants to call and ask bout the cost to restore a set of Buick wheels. If you find out, please post it here as I'm curious too.

Well we have a good machinist in our shop and we are going to try cut apart a sacrificial wheel in the lathe to see if we can restore a wheel and get it back together. Wish me luck... Gordon

UNDERDOG350 used to perform this upgrade to replace the rim shells and he did a great job. Did 6 wheels for me.

The wheels I have are original to the gsx so we want to keep the original shells with correct date codes.

OZGS455 Oh what a wonderful day!

I had my rear wheels cut apart on a lathe by Dragway Wheels Australia, they then sourced 10 inch rim bands, had them chrome plated and then welded them back together,
All up cost $1005 Aussie dollars.

I wasnt reccomending you do mate.
Though have you looked at the exchange rate lately??
Its very much in your favour!
Ship in an actual ship and bring a car to and youd clean up!
Youd have transport here for when you got here, and do well enough on the sale to pay for your trip.
Not as crazy as you think.
