    But it would look nice with factory mags, chrome trim, and a couple cans worth of black spray paint to 'fix' the engine compartment and interior!

    My first car was this '66 GS. I paid $50 for it. Had a dead engine and this Maaco paint job that was actually really nice. The Fairlane was my college beater... 289 4 speed I bought for $200. Sure miss those late 70's prices!

    Car looks great to me. Id prefer 17" wheels but thats all id change.

    Why do so many people put Grand Sport? I agree, some of the workmanship looks good, at least in the pictures. But not a fan of some of the styles, especially the rims, painted bumpers, and blacked out grill.
    '66 Skylarks and GS cars are great looking cars with killer lines!

    Idk. For the most part I like it. Back to chrome bumpers and rally wheels. That'd be about it for me. I'm not a big fan of yellow but wth.
    I'd be curious to see where/if a light weight fridge magnet does/doesn't stick.
