I put the colored ones in the signal indicators in the dash and had to replace them with the stock 194's at night they were blinding bright whenever you used the signals. The gen illumination bulbs could be dimmed but the indicator lights cant.

Yeah. The green ones looked like the Death Star laser beam.
I put incandescent bulbs back in until i can order some that don't give me third degree burns.

Thanks for the hint, Greg. In fact I did not, I overread your comment on that one in one of the previous posts.
Honestly, I have a hard time to understand why some genius engineer came up with the idea to reverse polarity. I also had some blood pressure while testing the LED for the rear curtesy (1142/BA15D) because I did not know that ground is one of the poles and not like common the metal base of the bulb. I was close to send the LEDs back to superbrightled. Fortunately and just out of curiosity I tried the two poles (one ground, one power) and they worked :).
In regards to the glove box, I will have a look and see if maybe I tinker a bit with the socket and reverse polarity there.
Will let you guys know about the outcome.
Thanks to Briz for the hint about the indicators. Maybe I am going to put some semiclear heatshrink tube over the led (if installation space allows). Will see.

I've used a bunch of Sylvania Zevo LED bulbs (the festoon style). I've been running them for 3 years. No failures and they have a lifetime warranty. Only on the interior though.

I like light emitting diodes and the light they produce, but reading, not only on here, the issues people eventually have, Im staying with the regular incandescent bulbs for automotive use:D

I had to remove the LED taillights from my 57 Dodge when I put in cruise control to get it to work right.

Thanks, I did check them and the 4410-WW8-CB looks right but I'm afraid the 44mm length is too long. OEM was 38mm. I'll check the dimensions closer.

I bought mine at Autozone. But I got the cool white that you don't want.

I had no issues with fitment. Mine are Sylvania 6441.

Is it working with 2 LED on each side or only 1 LED per side ?

Did you only replaced the bulbs or you do something other than that ?

Interesting discovery today. I swapped the turn and brake lights on my 71 350 GS to LEDs and the flasher already in it WORKED WITH LEDs!

To test it, I pulled it and put it in my 70 Stage 1 I had already converted. It worked there too!

Here's a picture of it. Any ideas why this one works and most won't?
