    FB_IMG_1556916838268.jpg Hi everyone,

Just wanted to give a notice for a Bohemia Hook & Ladder concert/cruise night this coming Saturday, July 20 from 4-9pm. We have the Ed Travers band playing (Jimmy Buffet & classic rock), BBQ & Dessert food trucks to buy food from (BYOB), and a cruise night in the FD field - first 35 vehicles get a dash plaque and there is a Chief's trophy for best of the cruise night. Price is $15 per classic car and that gets you and one guest in. *Ignore the $20 day of event in the flier - we are honoring the $15 admission the entire time.

Sounds great Larry. At the moment the forecast calls for low 90s and sunny so hopefully it will stay that way. The cruise night starts at 4pm so it should be a bit cooler then.

    Hi Larry,
Yes, that is the correct address. We just finished setting up for the Ed Travers band.

I took some quick pictures with my phone. The location was great with lots of potential. Unfortunately, the heat and humidity discouraged most from coming. The Bohemia FD has lots of property adjacent to the firehouse, sort of like a small park with lots of tree cover, and plenty of tables and chairs. I was very comfortable there. The music was great, Ed Travers band played some great tunes from Jimmy Buffet and others. There was a BBQ truck there with excellent food, and a shaved ice stand. If it wasn't for the heat, we would have had more turnout and it would have been a home run IMO. I was 1 of 2 Buicks there, me and a 41 Woody wagon. Had a great time, thank you Chris! Stopped at Jason's on the way home. He was having a BBQ with some relatives, so I got to meet part of the Cook family.

Yup, forgot about that one. That was Chris' father and mother with their 81 Riviera, nice car.

Thanks for coming to the show Larry! If we do the event again next year we may try to hold it in June or August.

My pleasure Chris, That location has all the makings of a great show. I think if it was a nice fall day with temps in the 70's, or even a day like today, the turnout would have been much better. I made a day of it, I visited with Jason before and after. It was a very enjoyable day for me overall.
