Excellent work as always Steve. I really like the way you've setup the intermediate pipes off the sides of the front pipes clearly as the secondary system to race. I know this beast will be awesome when done. Neat trick with the cardboard tube in lieu of a driveshaft to help set up the exhaust.

Looks like Bill is done with his, maybe he can stop by one day and help you wrap that thing up?:D

Just found this build!I may have to bend your ear a little Steve.I am going to start on my 64 Post sedan soon.Holy cow your work looks fantastic.Waiting on the block now, going to be almost the same combo as yours.T/A block,Stg. 3 heads.Difference being will be twin turbo,Fueltech FI,Going to be Methanol first.I will be able to use second set injectors for pump gas if I feel the need to drive it around.! question Sir.Do you think a 275 Pro on a 12 wide wheel will fit with the frame notched? My frame is notched have not messed with it yet, still ordering parts.

The ones pictured there are 275 on 10" rims and with the notched frame there's plenty room. About 1/4+ on the inside and 1"+ on the outside. Once running I expect to switch to a 315. I'd like 375, but I doubt it!! Lol
    Thanks!!

I got the chute mount and the tail pipes back from the powder coaters and will be installing them soon. I mocked up the exhaust one last time. The headers, collectors and extensions will be headed out to M&R Coatings next week for their ceramic "CermaKrome" finish. Progress looks slow as far as the car coming together, but there are a lot of little things finished and ready to go once the car is to that point of final assembly.

Now the car will sit again for a while as I have customer stuff to get done...………...

Well, customer stuff came first, but I still managed a few minutes to install the pipes and chute mount hardware.

Parts are starting to accumulate. Headers and collectors came back from M&R Coatings today. I'm very pleased with their work and it looks every bit as good as Jet Hot for a lot less! Barring any issues when I run them I do believe I'll highly recommend them and their services. Also got a few stickers and a metal frame done to compliment my glove box door vs. the standard "SKYLARK" logo.

WOW, those look fantastic! You should patent and mass produce them Steve. Awesome job! I like the new badge too.

    Thanks,
Replicating them could be done, but it takes a lot of work with jigs and fixtures, etc. Even after all that work, there's no guarantee that they'll fit the next car with the same setup. Everything is sooooo close that the only real good way to build them is to have the vehicle in front of you and go to it! With the labor and materials, (pre bent tubes, header flanges, basic collectors flanges, stainless bevel clamps, hi-temp coatings, etc) and the labor, they'd cost somewhere in the $2-$3K range. Unfortunately the cost of custom work. I'm very grateful that I can do this stuff myself, because I could not afford to have someone else do it for me...…………. In other words I can't afford my own work!! LOL

Took the "real" trans back out from final mock up and prepped it so it's ready to go in for the final time...…….at some point. Still have no completed engine so I'll focus on finishing the electrical and start the basic bodywork. I really wanted to have the completed 535 with the blower sitting on my stand next to the car as I continue to build...….. I wanted it as "motivation". Now it'll be a shame to have that kind of money and time in an engine and simply drop it in when finished...……..hiding a lot of the custom work in the process. I wanted "eye candy" for me and any visitors while the build progressed. Oh well...……...it is what it is I guess! LOL

More and more parts are finished and sitting on the shelf, waiting for final assembly. Still a long way to go, but I can "almost" see the light at the end of that tunnel! Starting the electrical now and then rough bodywork. Finish body work and paint after that. Still no word on when the Tomahawk will be on my shop floor...…………..

Been a little bit Steve any other additions to the build yet?I find something new every time I look through the pictures>

Nothing substantial as of late. I'm doing a lot of little detail things that will be ready to go when the final build time comes, but nothing huge. Took a pile of parts to the powder coaters and a large box full of stuff to the chrome shop. Sent the ProCharger in just to be inspected and looked over and I just got that back today. I started working on the wiring, but have been quite occupied with customer stuff, so it sits. I hope to get back at it soon. Once the wiring is all roughed in I plan on doing the rough bodywork and start to get it ready for paint. Motor is no where in sight....…………. waiting on a few things. It would be great to have it on the engine stand, waiting for me, but as it goes that's not the case.

Hid my MSD ignition under the dash with a swing away mount...…………… one HELL of a lot of wires to run and hook up! LOL
