    Hello,

I'm looking for this sticker that goes on the heater/ air conditioning controls inside the car. Any idea's on where I can get one? It kind of looks like this one but mine's silver in color.

One problem I've run into is finding an aftermarket sticker that allows the light to shine through like the original, which lights up the lettering on your climate control unit (AC, REC, etc.). On the original at night, the Hi Med Low etc. glow green, but with the stickers I gotten, they are just stickers with lettering and don't allow light through. They look good during the day but you have to have a flashlight to adjust your heat/AC at night. Don't know about the Briz stickers.

My decals are the same. The ones with white letters can be seen at night but not like factory. Originals were printed on a thin tin then the words and openings were stamped with a die. The part was then glued to a white plastic backing that the light bulb shined on from the back. No way for me to make one exactly like the factory. If I did get the tooling each part would probably cost north of 100.00 each. The demand is so limited that its not cost effective. Also the A body and full size cars are different. They look the same but openings for the switches are smaller. Riv is different than LeSabre / Wildcat/ Electra.

Old topic, but actual for me. I have the non-ac version.
I'm thinking about making something myself to allow for this, but not really sure how though.
I had a blue background, with the foil on top.
    Any tips here?

It was probably black to start with.

Actually the '69 GS looks like it should be silverish...

Yes, that's what mine is supposed to be. What color do your letters glow in the dark?

Does anyone make a decent reproduction of the black inserts that show the letters at night?

Not that I know of. Like I mentioned above... The tooling and start up cost for such a limited demand item would not be worth it.
