Update. Ive sent the carb back to QJ power 4 times its still a piece of scrap. cant get the car out the driveway.

To date Im in possession of 3 other 800cfm carbs
    1. rebuilt 30 years ago never ran It sat on shelf. runs great..700 miles +
    2. wreaking yard special 25$.. sprayed with brake parts cleaner. Filled the float with gas,, pumped good, placed on motor runs good. 10 Miles +
    3. just bought off the board that was rebuilt by Ken a few years ago runs GREAT. 100 miles +
    4. Qjet power carb POS only ting this is good for is some parts. Insides are full of crap. Wreaking yard carbs are cleaner..
    Will not recommend QJpower

    Not a happy camper

The idle for the Q-Jet is dependent on the idle tubes being completely clean and unobstructed, that's why the rebuilders on this board always pull those tubes (they come from factory pressed into place), and soak/blast all of that debris out of the wells. Those tubes channel fuel, and they also pull idle bleed air which mixes with the fuel and flows directly below the primary throttle butterfly. That's how a Q-Jet can idle the engine while the throttle is almost completely closed and no fuel is dripping from the primary nozzles.

Two of the biggest Q-Jet issues which screw up idling are the idle tubes being blocked, and the primary shaft bores leaking and needing new bronze bushings in order to plug the vacuum leaks. Both of the builders on the board know the repairs well, and are well versed in fixing both issues.

    Len I agree with you.

But after 4 returns and 4 different carbs the the POS dose not work.

Cliff must be the other rebuilder...

Serenity is not Qjet power. After 4 times you would think he would get it right.

Come on Mark.. Whats your comment.. Please explain why 4 carbs fail. Why is is a wreaking yard carb driving around town? None yours cant get out of the driveway,

BTW I do got some good news. the last carb you sent the air horn was was placed on a GOOD carb it failed The Base was also placed on a GOOD carb it opererates just fine.. The main body is a Fail also. Just letting you know.

I choice this way of communicating since you don't Listen to text email or phone. Maybe this might work.

Put carbs on a test stand motor. Its better to Fire a POS employee.

QUOTE from =====Every carburetor rebuilt by Everyday Performance LLC is test fired prior to shipping.
Wish I found Ken First.. Take his lead learn how to run a business.

I bought a Carb from Mark at Qjet power in sept last year.
Told him the basics of what I know about the Motor.
He has sent me 4 carbs that are compete fails..
Im a believer in ooooops..1 time twice come on,, But this is ridiculous... Thats why Im putting it out front.. Maybe he will get it strait. PUT Carb on test motors to see if they fail.

FWIW I did sent Mark a PM with a link to this post.

I hear you on the confusion.....
I reopen this post to show how long this BS has been going on..

Getting a happy out come from this. I Dought it. cause I real don't care at this point. Only reason I bought from him is because I didn't have a core to work with.

Truth is others need to know. BEWARE of Mark and Qjet power.

My carb from Mark(carmantx, QJetpower) works just fine. Ran a 13.5 @ 103 in BG last yr.

Did have an issue early on with running too much cam and not enough compression and carb didn't work right. Cam needed minimum of 9:1 compression, I had 8.2:1. After swapping pistons and using steel shim head gaskets, my compression is now 9.5:1 and carb now works great, where before, with 8.2:1 comp, it wouldn't idle(or run) worth a crap.

Not Mark's fault. Bad combo on my part.

Im Happy for you.. I guess Mark did a good job at one time.. Now I think someone else is doing the work. Or could be drugs.

I Purchased a carb from Mark in Sept 18. Mark sent me a carb,,, It did not work. I sent it back,,, 6 months later,,,A Total of 4 carbs 1 carb twice all 5 have been sent sent back and forth,,,, ALL of POS.... they cant run get out of the driveway.
You can hear vac leaks. nozzle drips,, White power mineral inside carb,,,, power piston that looked like it had been shot out of a rifle.. yes looked like rifling marks.. Mark tells me to take steel wool and buff out the rifling .........
