selling my 65 gs.it was a frame off restoration on a rust free California car.under body is painted body color and like new. was restored when i got it. have all factory and dealer documentation plus photos of restoration. have all original parts with original engine and hood to put back to show if desired.bamboo cream with black top and interior.there is threads about motor [having a mini stroke]. 430 HP & 550 torque on dyno. ran 12.38 1/4 mile time, that is before freshening last winter with new rings bearing and little bigger camshaft and tuning. should be 450 HP and very low 12's. all with 2-speed and 323 gears. mild cam really, very street able, drive around town or cruise the highway all day. stroked to 446 CI. 375 stroke now. JE light pistons, longer oliver rods. TA roller rockers and headers. pypes exhaust with x-pipe and Borla mufflers no drone. lots of head porting with bigger Ls chevy valves, bee hive springs. 2x4 carbs with fresh air scoop. reworked tranny and switch pitch converter. lots of other upgrades. dont know of a faster more street able nailhead any where. will post photos when weather breaks to pull car out. have a few photos on my phone now. 2 board members torqued 455 and bigpig 455 seen car at one time. light weight weld wheels with new tires and aluminum rear brake drums. call or text and questions to Joe, 716-949-7024., 32,500 or best offer.
Sad to see this put up for sale, but it is a VERY clean car....and one of the hottest street nailheads I know of...

photos. found some. 2 photos when I first got the car. the v8 decal is not on the glove compartment now. lol

This is how every nailhead GS should be built! Cool to see pictures after all these years of hearing about it. Nice job!
AND, don't forget that 12.38ET is with the original ST300 2spd!!!!!! AND NO fancy low gears. A street friendly/drive-able on the highway 3.23. Would have probably been even FASTER with 3.42's or 3.55's or 3.64's.. BUT, then you would more than likely had traction problems coming out of the hole. Extremely impressive being it's a FULL WEIGHT, completely stock appearing original Gran Sport AND looking good while doing it!!!!!!!!! Tom T.
