I am trying to identify the torque converter on my 455 and all I see is this D4 all the way around. Any idea what this means? Thanks! D4 Torque Converter.jpg

He is the owner of this site. I spelt his name wrong its Jim Weise. If you click on the search bar and type his name in it will bring you to many posts. Click on one, then once in a thread click on his profile and click "start conversation" then write him. He builds custom converters so he will probably be able to help identifying it for you.
P.S. he doesn't use an avatar name

    Cheers!

I'm halfway into a frame off restoration on mine and was just planning on freshening the motor and transmission. Just clean up and change the minor gaskets and repaint. I know my motor is a 76 Block with 72 heads and intake and have no idea what was done to the inside. Plus the torque converter has no real identification other than it was dark blue color before I cleaned it up and repainted. One of the Previous owners rebuilt and can't get in touch with him.
