Well, I was hoping to get the wagon back in time for Cruisin' the Coast, but that's not going to happen. The guy doing the work brought it by the house last Friday. It drove out great, a/c blows cold, interior looks good, etc. But the seats are still a mess. Like we did on my '62 Lincoln, I had him split the seat into a 60/40 seat and put power on both sides. That way, the missus and I can have our separate adjustments. But between the power motors and the upholstery guy adding a lot of foam to the seats, they sat much too high. My head was into the roof. Plus, there were several other issues like the turn signals not working, steering wheel loose, etc. that need to be addressed. So he's picking it back up today. I've ordered some bucket seat frames and foam for a '66 Impala and hopefully that will address the seat issue. Need to find a cool Buick console to put between the buckets. Hopefully I'll get it back and be posting pictures before the snow flies.
