Thanks DL. Got my set delivered today as well. They look very much like the Monroe bolts that I was using. My machinist has concerns with the plating on the Speedway parts. He can make these from scratch quite easily with his CNC equipment. Probably go that way. I had a thought Steve- if your going to just make these from scratch, would it be easier to machine them as just a stud without the integral "washer"? Then just stake a real washer onto the machined stud like the factory did?
Boy that’s wierd. i’ve had (2) sets . And these are aluminum. And we’re on my car over 20 yrs. ago. Strange. Are these a Fremont California plant thing?
No the 72's had the same as being discussed,..I've probably thrown away 20 pair of these things. They cant be aluminum, would never hold up the pressure applied to them, plus the threads would strip at nothing
