The previous owner of my car purchased that set (prior to 2000 - from year one) . I installed it back in 2010 and both pieces are quality.
I did and the quality was good, but as delivered the sheen wasnt quite factory - I hit them with a coat of semi gloss clear and they were perfect. Teally brouht up the sheen and the color..held up fine for maybe 4-5 years now? BTW, that emblem strip is actually that repro sticker that I think Todd from Die Cast had made up - Excellent reproduction, I look at it all the time and forget it's the sticker.
Got this a couple days ago. It is the best currently available. It has the texture like the original although the material is slightly thinner. It is also just a little darker than original but that could just be the section mine was cut from. As Rhett mentioned it is not as shiny as 40+ year old original is. Very nice overall.
