I’ve got a ’67 GS and found what seems to be the usual rusty area under the battery tray. I’ll be picking up a new tray but don’t want to try and hunt down a complete inner fender or complete core support. I plan on cutting and welding in a repair section and I’ve seen YearOne sells the lower front section of the inner fender for this specific area but only for a ’68 and up.

    - Is there a source for a ’67 that anyone is aware of that I can’t find?
    - Will the piece for a ’68 work for my ’67?

I’m not an expert welder or body man but need to start somewhere.
    Thanks.

    No 68/72 are different animals.

But what you have is very minor, no need for a patch panel, just some flat sheet metal,..cut trim fit and weld

That's the way I'm leaning, doesn't look real difficult but I'll know that for sure once I start the repair.
    Thanks.

    Thats a survivor right there.

Oh, and as far as I know, they don't make an aftermarket battery tray that is factory correct.
