One turd brown, er, burnished saddle, convertible here. I wonder how many of them had a/c, bucket seats, center console, ps, pb?

Not many, especially Burnished Saddle with Pearl White buckets. I still wish I could have kept that car. But you can’t keep them all.
Let's be clear that "by this chart" is just an opportunity for misinformation to spread, even though it's done with good intentions. You cannot get a percentage for a population and apply it to a sample (with apologies to the statisticians who actually know how to say this correctly). It's statistically incorrect.
1 of 3-ish; or 7-ish depending how broken down; and actually 1 of 1-ish if you consider the Original Owner cigarette butt still in the ashtray (left there on purpose).
Without further breakdown of combinations such as, vinyl roof with color, interior style, etc you can only guestimate on production numbers. I could guess that my '68 GS is one on one since it was ordered by the original owner and not a "lot" car. Its color combo, PW, 8-track, AM-FM, Tilt, tinted windows, etc....what are the odds that another one was ordered with those exact options? Does it really matter, no, since there are so few of our cars left they are all probably one-of-one now (unless you own one of the GSX cars )
Yes. Like I said before, if you have a Stage 1 and want to see how "rare" it is, look at the Stage 1 registry. Colors, options, etc. I will also recall what a friend said when I bought a '71 GS455 convertible one of 155 all together any color or anything else. Bragging about how rare it is. He said, it is rare because at the time nobody wanted one. The market is still pretty thin and grim, especially compared to what a Chevelle SS454 LS6 brings compared to a GS Stage1, which is a better car.
I would agree with your summation. As for Regal Black '70 Stage 1 cars: (and I've said this before as well) one could surmise that of the 160 GS 455's built at the Flint plant, the actual number of the $199.05 option has to be very low. Like, double digit low. Again - that's just Regal Black without any other accoutrements.
That's while so many of these cars have brown and green interiors. Really limits you on exterior color choices.
How about production numbers for the non GS Skylark? I was at Goodguys in Columbus and someone told me they only made around 2,000 Skylark convertibles in 1970? This sounds low?
Amazing how many of these cars you come across that are bland Brown or green. I’m thinking many were ordered by stodgy old dealers that didn’t quite get the performance thing. How many brown Chevelle do you see?
