Its taken me awhile, but I finally found the pic I was after. Working on the tow hitch, when the old cat ( she's nearly 20) decided that if she couldn't sit on my lap, she'd climb on anyway.
Sadly we just had to say goodbye to Saint. He was an amazing dog and through is therapy work, touched many lives. He's sorely missed, The house feels very empty. Here is his with my daughter near the Riv. BH
Sorry for your loss. I know all to well of the Empty feeling in our home and family. We said a final goodbye to our Springer(pictured earlier in this thread) December 19 2018. Looks like good memories though.
Cedric 9months on the left and Shamus 5years on the right. We got Shamus at 8 weeks old from a breeder and We rescued Cedric last spring. Best thing We ever did.
I love the Blue Merles! I finally got mine, a Blue Merle Collie we rescued, I named him "Sky" short for Skylark
X2 Wife and I are in rescue, we foster, transport, adopt, and house rescues till they're ready to go to a rescue. The house gets crazy at times, fuel costs soar traveling to get these poor animals, but its worth it for them, and it breaks our hearts every time its time for them to leave us
I can't say it enough, "You guys and ladies here are an awesome bunch." I never realized there were so many who cared so much and did what you all do to rescue homeless pets, now family members. One of my former employees/friends, Daisy Baldwin-Brooks, now living in Texas, does rescues and places them in homes. All with no outside assistance. Check this wonderful gal out on Facebook.
We were just approved for this Springer. We think he is part mountain goat as he is on their garage roof in this picture.
Spot on Jerry & Mark. To all that have lost their beloved pets, they will always be missed and truly never forgotten. Pets rule! My Dudley is Zeus and my rescue is Izzy. Of course we have tons of pics, but I have always liked this tender moment.
I love that pic! I love watching our Collie Max play with our foster Hank. Hank is a hound mix, almost a year old, he loves to grab a mouthful of Max's hair while playing, then Max bares his teeth in play Quite menacing looking, especially their K-9's, knowing they could rip a human apart, but they choose not too because they know your their keeper who feeds, houses, trains, PICKS UP AFTER THEM, and most of all gives them attention and affection
