Yep. Occasionally at a car show someone will notice and ask why the guy that did the paint screwed up. Easier to agree and throw Nick under the bus than to explain! o_O

Only took me an hour to unmask the car :D

Turned out really nice...in the photos, the black looks a bit mottled, but it is still curing. It will even out once completely dry. And don't mind the soap scum all over the paint...leftovers from the decal setup.

I had good intentions of getting a bunch of stuff done tonight, but had to do some housekeeping in the garage. I did, however, install the sport mirrors and trunk light. I'm going to try and tackle the headliner at some point this weekend. My upholstery guy doesn't do house calls, and I need this thing in asap.

I made a half-hearted effort to get the engine wiring harness set in place today, but I have to harvest the loom/block off the old harness to install on this one.

    No pics today...

    Out with the old...

BTW, this is not a fun job. Even with the car all apart. Power window harness is in and hooked up. Main dash harness is kind of in place, but the screw holes that hold the fuse box to the firewall are stripped out. So I need to get larger screws for it. Also, I need to buy a 72 chassis manual...unless someone has the wiring diagrams available. There are several connectors that I don’t know the termination point.
