It is getting power from the battery, via the starter/solenoid lug to the alternator terminal.
The other wire going to the passenger compartment is feeding "something", but not sure what, by using that alternator terminal as a bus.

I do not think that is why the car stalled. It should run from battery voltage (if it is sufficient voltage) even if the alternator output ceases.

It is hard to tell in a single video.

If you can get it to consistently repeat, see if it does it by keeping it in first (or second if you have a manual body), it might be torque converter clutch, or maybe throttle closing without anti-stall dashpot.

Did your fuel pressure change at all? And do you have an all time vacuum gauge installed? If so, that might help with "seeing" what the vacuum is doing.

... much appreciated. I hear you regarding my Buick should run from Battery Voltage IF the Alternator output ceases. my Fuel Pressure did not change at all.

I feel the RED wire leads to the Fuse Box in my Regal; I thought about it after the video ended. I'm posting update video now.

    Thanks again.

... UPDATE @ 1-Wire Alternator NOT connected to my Battery ... to the Starter ONLY.

LOL. The wire to the starter is on a lug, the positive wire from the battery is on that same lug.
That is the path the alternator takes back to the battery.

If you do not remove that clipped red wire, at least fold the end over, tape it and secure it.

Understood. Now I get it. I totally removed that RED wire the same day.

Thanks very much. Have a great weekend.

Nice kill but, why is your rev limiter set at 4400? In a serious race with a well tuned big block you are likely to get buried.

... LMAO; you are absolutely correct. :)

I'm sending the MSD-6AL-2 to MSD next week, God's Will. Until the box is repaired and shipped back to me, I'm not going to drive.

    Have a great weekend. :D
