I recently bought this car on Evilbay . It had been stored for awhile and then had some mechanical work done to it to get it highway worthy. The car was sold new in Colorado. Options include , AM/FM radio, console , PDB , PS , A/C , Speed Alert , Tinted glass, Remote Tri Shield mirror, Tilt Wheel, V7 SS wheels , Sport Wheel , Convenience Group, Peak and rear body moldings , Custom Trim and a clock. The paint is original with very minor checking on one panel . The dual white stripe spare and jack are in the original painted trunk . It was undercoated at the dealer when new. The top is in excellent shape with no fading or splits . The interior is very nice also. The VIN stamped original SP engine is in it with the 3.23 open rear. Thanks , Scott. I wondered about the price too until I noticed that the OP is in "Member's Rides" and not "Cars for Sale". Beautiful survivor!

I buy and sell a lot of cars, ask my wife for proof of that ! I searched for 3 years to find an original paint non molested Survivor car. All the big block cars I looked at had been restored or were out of my target price range. This car fit into the list of stuff I was looking for just fine. You can drive a Survivor and enjoy them for what they are, a car that has been treated like a member of the family. They also have character and are not plastered with poor quality aftermarket catalog parts. I cant sell it , too hard to find another one like it..

Looks like a true survivor, all original. I wonder about the battery cables, though. Is it possible they have been replaced? Buick went to side terminal batteries in about February 1971. Just curious as my '71 came with side terminals originally although I've converted to the top terminals because I like them.

If it were for sale the price would be pretty steep and I might get an f bomb dropped on me !! LOL .

Ryans-GSX Have fun, life is short.

Absolutely beautiful Buick. Don't take this a a knock on the car but just in case you missed it your missing your cross bars behind the grill. Easy to find a set and being such a nice survivor car I figured you would want to know what if anything needs to be put on the car or is not correct. Other members may see things that you need to change or add. I think with the good pics you have of the car some members could help you if it needs anything.

Forgive me, brain fart moment. I thought it was a '72, not a '70. Sorry.
