Yes I still have the vinyl top trim. Like a dummy I messed up the very end of one piece when cutting the roof off. Other than that and needing a good polish they are in great shape. If you are still interested I can post photos this weekend. $10 plus actual shipping cost.
Price is great, would like to see pic's , i'm getting these for a friend and he's kinda fussy.... he's missing the corner piece on drivers side, but would really like a matched set... Thanks Mike
Heater control were sold with the rest of the AC system. The steering wheel that came with the car was a disaster but I have another decent wheel that I will post pictures of.
Photos of the vinyl top trim are below including a close up of the end of the inner left side piece that I boogered up with the grinder. The last photo shows a section that I polished for about 30 seconds. It looks like they will clean up nicely. fasteners included.
Here are 2 steering wheels that I have. I have one horn pad that will go with whichever wheel you want. First set of photos is the wheel that came with the parts car. Its cracked in all the normal places. You could use it as or try and repair yourself. This set of photos is of the wheel that came with my convertible. the previous owner tried to do some crack-filling and repairs himself. Its cracked again but is in better shape than the wheel from the parts car. There are no visible cracks on the rim. I will include the horn pad in the photos below with either steering wheel. There are a few blemishes on the chrome surround and the trim-shield emblems are a bit faded. Horn wiring is intact and uncut. How about $40 for the steering wheel from the parts car or $50 for the other, slightly nicer one - plus shipping. Crazy people on eBay are asking $75 for these right now.
That little hic-cup is on the drivers side, yes ? If so , I'm gonna hafta pass... That's the piece he's missing.
Stacey I am sorry I lost this post somehow do you still have the better steering wheel and horn pad I will take if you do..
That trim (I think it's called reveal molding) was optional on '67 Skylarks and GS400. My parts car didn't have that option. Sorry.
Try looking for '66-'67 GTO or LeMans belt reveal moldings. They are all the same. Also post what your looking for in the "parts wanted" forum here. Someone may have what you need.
What to do with the remains of this car? I got what I wanted and sold a few bits and pieces to people here on the board. I still have the front quarter of the frame with the suspension bits and spindles still attached along with the steering gear box and center links/tie rods. I also have the 10 bolt Positraction rear end. I am tired of this stuff clogging up my shop. The parts I wanted to keep are taking up enough space anyway. Is the remaining stuff really worth anything to anyone?
I might be interested in the rear end if it's still available. Do you know the ratio? Would you ship it to WA 98208?
