Tough to let this gem go !

Went to a BUICK GUY in Virginia (a V8 Buick board member) who will enjoy it as much as I did for all the years I had it. He plans on taking it to the next level and rehab anything it might need to put it back to completely stock.

With a tear in my eye I must say "Goodbye Mighty Stage1", your going to the right guy and a good home.

Time to take out your new vehicle for a long drive to ease the pain?

Dont let the new car out perform your driving skill. The video would end up all over the net.

So far my driving skills are a wee bit cautious with this powerful Corvette. My Grand National is very fast and I have mastered controlling that car when full boast hits. The Corvette is Supercharged so the boost is always there when you touch the gas.
The LS motor revs up much faster than the Buick motors and that is what will catch you off guard. You can shift the LS9 at 7 grand but when this thing reaches about 5 grand, even with all the traction and suspension settings on the mellowest settings, at 5 grand it hits the sweet spot and gets almost uncontrollable in the first 4 gears. Big learning curve and I still haven't had the balls to take it past 5 grand.

A friend owns a ZR1. It has more engine than the tires can handle. And it has some very big factory tires. Nice car.

Yes we did race 20 years ago. But if I do remember correctly, we were side by side on the Meadowbrook and you suddenly dropped back because your engine developed a strange noise.
We pulled over and you had panic in your eyes. Also I think that was your old engine before Jim built you a new bullet.

BTW I'll give you $2,500 for that ( NON RUNNING RED CONVERT. ) you've got stored in your garage. I'll have it running like new in a NY MINUTE ! ! !

    Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh - SNAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAPPPP ! ! !
