Transmission is done and at home. With this done the drive terrain is pretty much complete. Took radiator support and transmission support in to get blasted and powder coated. Should be finished next week. Things seem to. Be moving slowly. Hope to possibly get some body work done this winter.

Glad to see you're making progress Dean. :TU: :TU:

Oddly enough, your restoration popped into my mind a couple of days ago. Not sure why.

Tom, the progress has been really slow. But still moving at a turtle pace. Work has not slowed down much and the temperatures outside are bitterly cold. Next week we are suppose to get a little warm up. Thanks for thinking about my project. I can't wait to get it finished.

looking at the frame picture, I am guessing car has an automatic? One step at a time and before you know it, you will be finished with it.

Are you planning on tackling the body work yourself or do you plan on farming that out?

Ryan, yes this car is an automatic. The body/paint will be done at a friend's shop. I will help as much as I can, learn as much as I can, be in the end he is the expert. I've only painted once, didn't turn out to bad. I guess this isn't the car I want to learn on. Would be nice to say I did it myself. I am a substation electrician by trade, be also like to broaden my knowledge of different things.

Short Crank. Life has been pretty busy around here. Work is busy, home is busy, and trying to get ready to sell my parents house sometime this summer. Trying to get time to get Lake set up for summer. As far as the car goes, haven't done anything ina long while. Waiting for my turn to get body work/paint done. That's about it.

Looks like part of the car was repainted. Am also finding rust pits in various places on the car, nothing serious. Had a couple years of not doing much on it. Thanks for looking.
