Hello everyone I'm new here and it's been a long time since I posted to a forum so bear with me haha. My dad used to have a 1970 Buick Electra convertible 225 and he tore it down to restore it to original color. He lost interest and the parts have been in his mother's house for 28 years lol. So rather than see them go to the junkyard for scrap I'd like to see these be used to their full potential as I am a huge car guy. Looking to sell everything as a whole unit. Not looking to ship or deliver anything. So pick up is preferred but for the extra money might help with delivery just let me know and we can work something out guys thanks!!

Parts list as followed: Hood, Grille, Front Seats, Both Doors, Door Panels, Trim pieces, Trunk Lid, Tons of bolts with most stuff labeled. Boot cover. The list goes on. I haven't had chance to go through all the parts because I'm just seeing if anybody out here wants them before I start digging everything out. Parts are located in Wheatfield, Indiana 46392

What color is the boot cover?

Is there a parade boot in all of that?

@Wheelz Unfortunately when we moved dad left the rest of the car at our old house and the new owners scrapped it.

A parade boot is a hard platform that fits over the lowered convertible top so someone can sit on top of the rear seat and
wave to the people in the crowd as the car passes by.

The mascot for one of the local HS is a Wildcat. One of the parents approached me a few weeks ago asking if the school
could 'borrow' my Wildcat for their homecoming this fall.

If I could pick-up a parade boot relatively cheaply, I might consider it. However I'm not laying out a ton of cash
for something that is going to sit in the garage for 364 days out of the year.

Oh, and BTW - I'll pass on the boot, I need one in white.

    Thanks

That 70 is the same color as mine. Exactly the same! I do need some parts for my 70 if you will sell parts individually.

    Hood
    Trunk lid with Electra script
    Fender skirts with trim
    Cruise control (whole set up)
    Rear bumper
Maybe the boot cover (mine is getting rough)
Rally rims if this one has them
The carpet if it's not faded or worn
    Factory floor mats

Picture of the grille? Do you still have the tri shield emblem for the front of car? Would be interested in that.

On a 70, the parade boot is NOT a hard platform, it is soft vinyl. The hard fiberglass boot did not come on to the scene until 71 Caddy Eldo and then was available as an option on the 72 Centurions/LeSabre. It is also NOT designed for people to sit on. Both types are designed to cover the top, nothing more, nothing less.
