    LADIES AND GENTLEMEN...
Please allow me to introduce something NEW AND EXCITING for our Stepchild Nation Brothers and Sisters...
    1968 & 1969 Buick GS and/or Skylark,
    NON factory optioned N25 BUMPERS!!

    FINALLY.
Perhaps a DREAM COME TRUE for some 68-69 GS owners and, well over a two year plan of mine, has now come to fruition!
For the sake of not afflicting total boredom to most of you, I will not go into a lot of details here, but I will post the detailed story on THE BENCH if you want to hear about it...

    SHORT STORY VERSION:
It began when I purchased 1- 68 and 1- 69 rear bumper from the desert southwest and shipped them here. (Thank You Carhex!) I laid out a ruff idea for holes to be cut for the N25 tips.
Then,I tackled the hand manufacturing of N25 stainless tips to match all the curves & bends of the 68-69 rear bumper.
Good Golly, this was 'extremely challenging' and a pretty serious risk to say the least and I often considered giving up but, I refused.
I cut out multiple cardboard templates. Changed the design at least hundred times. . I formed prototype steel templates and for whatever reason, those steel templates once formed and spot welded, never quite matched up to the bumper angles and curves so the fit and the angle was often incorrect. I returned to the 'drawing board' more than a few times. aaarrrgh.
(71-72 N25's were relatively simple because they were already a factory option so we had something to modify a design to..., however, as far as I knew, 68 or 69 N25 bumpers have never been attempted so there was no information/pix/images to reference....)

As I struggled over the challenges in design, I eventually felt I was close enuf to move into producing actual stainless tips. So I sent both bumpers to Rusty Davenport, (Thank You Rusty!) whom worked with me for almost 4 months on hand- forming and punching holes thru the extra nice RUST FREE 68-69 rear bumper cores. When he and I were finally content with the layout and final forming of the N25 cavities, Rusty then sent the bumpers off to Tri CIty Plating...
As the bumpers were going thru plating transformation process, I hand manufactured 2 sets of 2-1/2 inch and 1 set of 3 inch polished Stainless Steel N25 tips, specifically for these bumpers.

    FAST FORWARD:
All my efforts came together two weeks ago as I received the bumpers from Tri City Plating and performed a final polishing to my tips for that awesome almost chrome look you all have come to know.... These bumpers are nuttin short of AWESOME and they have a lifetime guarantee!!! The Stainless N25 tips appear to be chrome, they fit & match the bumper curves and angles perfectly!!!

Take a moment to look at the bumpers and exhaust tip cavities & design, imagine all hard work invested in manufacturing the N25 tips to match the curves/angles, all the expenses incurred with purchasing, shipping, Rustys time and labor, more shipping, replating and more shipping... manufacturing N25 tips.... on & on & on. Ya. This has been one of those WAY OVER BUDGET investments for sure.

As you can see in the pix here, and once one of these bumpers is in your hands, you will certainly agree, THESE CUSTOM BUMPERS ARE NOTHING SHORT OF SPECTACULAR! NO EXCUSES~ PERFECTION AT ITS FINEST.
Think About This too. . . you could SOON own ONE OF NONE ever produced, 1968 or 1969 GS or Lark NON FACTORY OPTIONED N25 BUMPERS!!!!
