WTB: Alternator bracket head bolt for 425

    Like the title reads, I need the long head bolt that is used to go through the alternator bracket for a 425 engine.

    That bolt that you're looking for is only longer than the other bolts by the thickness of the bracket where it bolts to the head. Perhaps 3/16" longer at the max.

    I think in this particular case I am going to bottom out a stud in this hole and torque the head down with a nut.

    I checked and I do have the bolt you are looking for. I measured the bolt from the bottom of the head to the end of the threads at 41/2 inch. That is 1/4 inch longer then the other bolts. Only found one. Send me a pm if interested.
