    June 13th it is......

Hopefully we will have a nice sunny weekend with no chance of rain.

Look forward to seeing everyone there.

They announced last week that racing would start up again at San Antonio Raceway starting in mid-June.

That's good. I saw where a guy was trying to raise $25000 to get a race going so they didn't lose their permit.

We will payout 100% of the $$ plus trophies. $10 entry

Also a note on the race classes we will have trophies as well as the $$ payouts. The trophies were asked for last year when we only paid out $$, so this year you'll get both! :)

I'm bringing my TR this year. I can't find my fuel rail hose and jumper wire setup to pump the 15 gallons of pump premium out. Can someone please bring a setup tomorrow. Thanks

I'll have a jumper wire. I don't have a hose. Maybe someone else will have one.

So, Regal1, 9 am in Hillsboro, will y'all be at the loves truck stop?

I gotta say, your regal is one sweet ride. I didn't see it make any passes but it sure looked good sitting in the pits.

And for those who didn't make it it was a great time, at least or my son and myself. Got to see a bunch of the people I haven't seen in a while and got to meet a bunch of new ones. I didn't make any passes but it looked like the track was a little slippery. Congrats to Stan Davis with a runner up finish in the race. And to Jim West, Jason, and Pam Berger on their show wins!

Sorry we missed it y'all. Tyler was playing in a hockey tournament and I got to see him play a couple games. I did get red car running though.
We hope to see some of you next year or sooner.

Was Jim West's car another "Jim Turner Special"? I think it's funny how our cars get swapped around, or run into people all over the state who remember certain cars.
I met a Guy in Pearland, Didn't know about Richard Mann & his cars, but knew Jim West. Jim ended up with a 68 GS 400, Light Blue with a White painted Roof, Buckets & Column Shift that I brought to Dickinson from Dallas, Sold the car right off the trailer, (Never hit the ground @ home) and Jim bought it, from the guy I sold it to.

Sorry y'all missed out. Noble is coming fast and is in Sept this year. Mark your calendars.
For a rain date of a rain date the turn out was pretty good I thought. But any time I get to see old friends it is a great day for me, and there were several there I hadn't seen in 20 yrs.

Hope to see everyone in Noble!

Couldn't make the rainout, rainout, rainout date. My oldest was getting married. Hope everyone had a good time. Oh well, try again next year. Heck, might even have the new engine by then.
