Well our pastor has asked all of us to step out of our comfort zone and try something new this week.Take a little step of faith and see where it leads you.......Well I am on here all the time looking at various builds, what parts are for sale that I cannot afford, etc.I figured this is where I would take my small step.I was going to start a thread so people could just post basic prayer needs throughout the week. You know, struggles with life, the job, family friends, etc. We all could use others praying for us.You can pm me request also if you do not want to post it.If you post any negative comments, you will be moved to the top of the prayer list:grin:.Not trying to get into any religion discussions as to what anyone believes or doesn't. The Lord says,"For where two or more are gathered in My name,I am there also".So come along for the ride. I will be writing down requests and praying over them.Hopefully this strengthens my faith in the precess and God uses me in a way I have never known before. Thanks for your time,Richie

Jim,if this is out of line with the forum rules or guidelines, let me know.I'll pray about that too.

I commend you for your efforts but this is an area that is already out of the comfort zone of most folks so it should be interesting, but best of luck with it. As for me, I don't really need any extra prayers. Life is pretty good and I am thankful for everything I have, most importantly my best friend in the world, my wife. I guess you could pray for someone to come along and buy our house so we can move back to Wisconsin

If anyone needs prayers it's our daughter. Life has been a struggle for her every step of the way. It's self-inflicted of course, but she's trying harder now. Finally got the ambition to go back to school and learn a trade but she has two boys now, 6 and 1 1/2 years so it's an uphill battle to juggle all of this at once. The 6 year old is autistic but he's a great kid. Her biggest obstacle is her lazy, worthless piece of human scum boyfriend I've ever known. 29 years old and no job, no driver's license, no car, nothing. He's just a leach and he is constantly trying to bring her down to his level and seems to stop at nothing to try and keep her from completing her schooling so he can call her a failure. I guess misery really does love company.

Well as I was told....little steps.Eventually you will move forward and see you have traveled a great distance. If this is uncomfortable for people,by all means hit the back button and move one. It's here for those in need. That's all.:TU:

Keep the faith and press on, prayer changes everything.
John 14:13&14 Jesus said "Whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it"
My request and prayer is that the Lord Jesus Christ would grant us the strength through His power to keep pressing forward in a fallen world, Wisdom to see the important things in life through His eyes and be able to comprehend and reinforce His Love for all,we must be couragous in Jesus, and in His name I pray
Thanks Richie and I'll be praying for you as well. May God be the Glory

    Brother in Christ

New week......I keep adding to the list.Praying every morning for those who have sent me a response. Also if you have something to shout out a praise for, throw it on here.:TU:

Thanks Dwayne for the support and prayers.
Also adding to the list all of our United States Service men and women who put thier lives on the line every day so we can enjoy our hobbies and live free to do so.Also thier families that are left here to deal with everyday life and the struggles that come from not having a spouse ,father or mother at home. The ones who have come home missing limbs or have had thier life changed in ways we cannot understand.Thank you for your sacrifices here and abroad.May God bless you all in some way.

I have never been a list guy When it comes to prayers and I commend you for that. if it's uncomfortable for the few they don't really need to even answer or read but hey that's just me. As for me I will, gladly take your prayers for continued patience and correct responses with my kids and my wife. let me know if you need prayer for anything and I'll start making a list. :)

I have trouble keeping things straight without a list.that and I don't want to forget anyone.I actually got a yellow legal pad last year for my birthday so i could list all my projects on it.I can now check them off as I do them. For some reason nothing gets checked off and the list of projects keeps on getting longer. As far as patience and correct responses to wife and kids,I could use that too.Trying to practice "A wise man is quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to anger" Doesn't always work though:grin:.

I just came thru cancer surgery 6 weeks ago and today the Dr called me and told me that my blood test showed that I was cancer free. Had it not been for the prayers of some good people--I might not have been so lucky.

    Hey Richie,

It's funny how The Lord works: sometimes you are led to do things you aren't necessarily comfortable with! You'll probably never realize what effect these things have on other people but maybe it will be revealed to you at some point. A seed may have been planted in the hearts of the people that have read this thread and not responded.

I'll level with you and admit I needed to see this. You see, I have not been walking with my Savior and it's only by His Mercy that I've been gifted another precious day to glorify His Name rather than defile it like I have been doing the last couple years. So thank you my brother and may I ask that you keep me in your prayers? I need strength to follow His perfect will and stop succumbing to my selfish earthly desires.

    Thank you.
