And now my aluminum 555 TSP short block is ready so......time to make the change. Jim, I'm curious how much more HP with the Aluminum? Did you thread this build?
Sorry Jay...no loaners on this deal Frank we will see 200-300 more hp w/ the new combo....so 1200-1300 hp total. I would have not built my current motor but I started S/C project before TA's block came out and once it did I wasn't sure if would be available if I had a problem. So I purchased one and over the course of the past 6-9 have collected most of the parts and decided to just sell this short block and move on. Certainly not the most cost effective decision I have ever made:spank: Regards,
I have not had the chance to make a pass. I loade up the car and tools yesterday afternoon only to find out they change the program to Friday night:af:. on the Bright side the car has been totally updated for the S/C combo and i will be 100% ready in the spring!

the tall fill will require an external oil cooler for the street. Water temps are not a problem. The SRE pan has a provision for oil temp sending unit. thanks
Jim, I am interested in the complete engine minus carb and ignition. however it all hinges on whether or not the engine i commissioned from a builder hits the dyno in 10 days as scheduled or if there are more delays. I will monitor this post and if it doesn't happen and this is still available i will see what we can work out. Bob
Re: 1000Hp BBB short block or complete motor stg 2 Okay guys I just pick up another set of heads so the complete motor is up for sale minus the Carb and distributor but those items can be purchased if needed. New price for the complete motor minus S/C set up, carb and distributor is 10K. This is a great deal for anyone who wants to go Turbo or Supercharger route. You cannot build this set up for any where near what I want for it.
