The car that "Spit the Drive Shaft" was "RED". 64 455 Skylark. Owned, Driven & built by "Skylark Willy", back in 79/1980.
Bill finished the Day driving the Gold 72 GSX of "Screaming Snail", Steve Deak.
Red was sold in 87, to a Chris Chandler, & moved to either Alabama or Georgia.
I have not been able to locate the car, but have spoken to other's that replicated it.

Still looking for the car....No real need for the car outside of personal value...but I will clean out my regal if I found it to make room.

    Any leads would be great!

Would like to blast this from the past. Would anyone know anything? Was in NE Ohio fella named Bob owned it and sold it a while back.

It was a 350 car repainted white...455/th350...had weld draglites at the time. Previous owner turned it steetable.

Was for sale in i think 2007 at the norwalk BPG race for 9600 i think...was sitting on a trailer.

I'll try remembering more...maybe dig up a picture somehow.

    Thank you

Check with the DMV for the state in which you had it titled. If you can get a copy of that title, you will find the VIN. The VIN may lead to the car.

See if particular DMV can search old titles by the registered owner's name and the year model car.
