I know there are several people who have benefitted from the prayers here,so now it is my time to politely ask for help. I am heading to Philadelphia to take my daughter and her boyfriend down to the Children's Hospital. My new born granddaughter has come up with some complications and the Hospital she was delivered at isn't set up to deal with the problems she has been having. We are leaving in the next hour heading to Philly and the forecast isn't looking so great. Please keep us in your thoughts for a safe trip and speedy recovery for Piper. To the ones I am getting parts prices and shipping things out, I hope you will be patient as I probably wont have the time to get the shipments out till later in the week.. Thakn You all, Pat and family
So sorry to hear that. My daughter was life flighted from the hospital where she was born to a hospital with a neonatal intensive care unit when she was less than one day old. Nothing worse than problems with a baby.... They will be in my thoughts and I'll be watching to see updates that she's doing better. Be strong. The kids need you to be strong so that they can get through it too.
The little ones are strong fighters, went thru it with our grandson 16 months ago . Prayers for Piper and your family.
Pat, Prayers for your family. I hope for a speedy recovery for your grand daughter. stay strong my Buick brother.
Pat, best of luck to Piper. As mentioned by someone else the little ones are the strongest. My little cousin (7 now) has a little bit of everything from Autism to a cold 365 days a year. She can't be any happier then she is. You may hate the Eagles but you will love the childrens hospital, its a major reason why Cliff Lee signed with the Phillies. She is in my prayers. Louie
Awwww, God loves the little ones,,, so do I ,,, as you go our prayers will go ahead of you... may God help the doctors and the medicine to bring her to good health again,,, The Great Spirit, who created the eye, and the ear,, has no trouble healing a little baby.... May He keep you and her well....
Thank you all for the well wishes and prayers. We made it down there in terrible weather and awful driving conditions. Luckily,I am used to driving on these type of conditions from working my job at Penn Dot. We were shocked to see Piper in the condition she was in. Her body can't dispel the ammonia her body makes and it builds up in her brain. She was in critical shape on Saturday, but they managed to get it under control to a very manageable rate. It's too early to tell if there is damage yet,but the Doctors are hopeful she will get better. She has been moved down to the NICU from the critical unit. She has a long road ahead, but we will support her in her trying time. She still needs prayers and people pulling for her.Thank You all for the support,it means alot to all of us.
Not a religious guy.. but I'll be sure thinking about you and your family and the little one... here's to a swift recovery!
Pat, I'm on the phone with my mom right now, who is promising many prayers for little Piper's speedy and complete recovery.
Hi Pat... Sorry for the late post. Congratulations on the new arrival. We knew it would be any day now. I am so sorry to hear about her complications.... I will certainly keep her in my thoughts and prayers. At least you are getting her the best care possible. Philly is only about 2 hours away... should you need anything. Feel free to contact me. Tom
