    StageTwo It's a Beauty Too.

Here's a photo of my street/strip '70 GS. Black on black with a blower.

Okay, let's just forget for a moment that the motor is a BBC. I contemplated taking the blower off of the block and using in on top of the Buick block, but the detailing on the BBC was too nice and I couldn't get the headers to fit with that set up. I did black out the "Chevrolet" lettering on the valve covers, though. I just pretend it's all Buick.

As for the hood, it sits next to the car for display. Those OEM scoops are just too nice to cut up.

I'll have to take some more photos tomorrow of the other stuff in my office.

The wheel/tires you see on the '67 are off of the black '70 (above). They are actually slightly bigger than the ones that came with the car (14" vs. 15" to scale?). I thought the bigger ones look better, especially with the red lines.

The yellow 1/18 GSX was purchased in 1991, one of the earliest, I think. I did some detailing on the interior and stuff, but nothing major.

The red dragster is a Tommy Ivo car, though the engine is a hemi. I'm still looking for a 1/18 Tommy Ivo car with twin nailheads (not the QUAD thing).

I have a ton of 1/64 cars, including some from the 60's and 70's that I've had since I was a kid. Maybe I'll break them out sometime.

Almost forgot! This one was a favorite toy at Grandma and Grandpa's house when I was little. Not sure what scale it is, but it weighs a ton!

I hit Toys r us the other day and scored 4 68 69 buicks. One is an ugly paint scheme and the other is a Race version.

Two of each. I'll get pics in a little bit.

These were not $1.00 but Buick related. They were on clearance though. I bought a few others as well. Keep the thread alive man!

Local small drug store near me has a few interesting items, such as a 64 Ford Thunderbolt. There is also a 5 car set which includes a 72 boat tail Riv. Perhaps I should have spent the 10 bucks to get these today.:Dou: I can always go back, since those aren't big sellers at this store.
