    Cool! I always wanted a Fairmont, used to have a big poster of Bob Gliddens car hanging in my room when I was a teen.... I'll bet it rolls!

    Thanks. It has been 128 mph N/A in the quarter on drag radials.

    Very nice! I love that you didnt remove the luggage rack! Thats gotta look pretty wicked blowing by @ 128mph. Any chance of us seeing how that 393 looks under the hood?

    I always loved the Fairmonts, and figured them for cool sleepers. You don't see too many of them around. Cool! :TU:

    I prefer the 2 door versions, as they would also make an excellent sleeper, especially with a 514 stroker. :Brow: :Brow:

    I never thought I would see the day when cool would be linked to a Fairmont.
    Unique, odd, different, peculiar ...........maybe. Nice workmanship.

    Thank you, I try to make fit and finish as well as I can. Some of the things, like the valve covers were hurry up and bolt on, because I was trying out a new crankcase vacuum system.

    I didn't know Ford made a two wagon. Did they?

    I should have specified the 2 door coupe Fairmount which looked a little like a baby 77 T-bird. :Dou:

    That's another one that my wife just doesn't get. I want a cool wagon. I'm winning her over though..... Slowly.
    I would love to get a 65 Sportwagon to hotrod!
