It's probably your pic Gary. Hope you don't mind. I save a lot of chassis mod pics that I run across for reference.:beers2:
Here are a couple of more weight saving ideas to add to your spreadsheet. Email me if you are interested in posting your spread sheet on this website @ m900rider@hotmail.com http://www.classracertech.com/Drag_Car_Modifications.html
Paul Great web page!! I assume the weight loss cooling system is a race only application. I get the same info on your web page for the brakes and alternator. Yes go ahead and do what you want with the table. I will e-mail it to you.
Someone asked about the WS fiberglass parts. I have used parts from them on both my 67 and 68 and liked the parts and doing business with them. Don't know about the 70s stuff Jim Netherland
I have added info (see post 1 for the table) about drive shafts. I have e-mailed several companies about Lexan and have not heard back from them.
Check the link on the right side of the table it should take you to the web page for the fiberglass hood and fenders
Both of my Bulldog heads are 70 pounds. One stock 1970 head is 63 pounds. I will report a "as new" Bulldog head and a worked on head after I get done cleaning it up. OK new out of "the box" are 35 pounds each and after I cleaned the up they are 34.75 pounds. can who ever has the table add these heads.
I just made a square tube aluminum core support that only weighs 5lbs compared to the factory one at 30lbs. If there is any interest, I could work up a price. Here's a pic... http://www.v8buick.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=141579&d=1245100423
That would be great. I'm sure there will be interest. There are alot of rusty core supports that need replaced.
Yeah, did you fit everything on it yet to test if everything bolts up and you can still adjust the headlights etc etc. Hey it looks like were missing a piece on the bottom were the radiator goes in! Nice job! 51lbs to 301lbs that seems a lot
