    Update:
Went from a 2:93 to a 3:42 rear & added a set of MT ET Streets.Ran a best today of 13.89 @ 99.49 .I am sure there is more in her as she was breaking up @ the 2-3 shift. Also temperature was a balmy 35 degrees at the track today.

I want to see how your car looks launching with those MT's and 3.42's

    What was your 60'?

WTF...you should be well below 2. My best was a 1.87...I don't think I was ever in the 2's, except last year when I ran the car for the first time in Columbus. What's the stall on your convertor?

I have a switch pitch setup with a TSP 1800/3000 12" convertor. On the 1st pass,I launched in high stall & had a crappy run ,partly due to the fact that the car before me oiled the track & we sat for 25 minutes. It was 34 degrees @ the time & when I started the car the dang choke kicked in & was unable to get it off completely before starting the pass. On the next 2 runs,I launched in low stall.I did not get to experiment any more with stall speed as the car was breaking up on the 2-3 shifts & I did not want to risk breaking anything.

Too bad we couldn't get some video from the two 13.89 Centurions racing, that would have been sweet!!!

Rumors has it that after scrapping his engine at the dyno due to not enough oil, Smartin is upping the cam and compression a notch. Will there be any counter measures from Nick Rabi???

    Stay tuned!

Funny you should mention that....Smarty's new combo will kick my a$$:ball: .I think my current combo ,with some more tuning, can yield another 10th or so,maybe. If if I can save the $$$$,I think my next step will be T/A Stage 1,Level 2 SE's from Gessler.BTW, My new best is 13.84 @100.55 mph,4880 lbs with me.

Nick, your mph looks like you should be deeper into the 13's...I wonder where you're losing it.

I bought a ton of crap from TA yesterday...gave the credit card a good workout it hasn't seen in a long time. How's Doug say it - It's only money, I'll make more.

It's red figures all over, but I'm at least trying to sell some stuff to cover for some of the expenses.

My nailhead is a slug, and I'll see what some tuning can do, but I don't really expect too much. I'll probably build the 455 from the Centurion for it at some point, but now I'm years behind you guys (well, then nothing has changed I guess).

.05 ain't bad when it comes down to it. I remember Adam trying to dip into the 14s forever, or was it 15s, or 13s? Or all of the above?

*cough* not in a million years *cough*

I finally hit a 14.99 with the convertible and promptly quit working on the car. Last year's quest was for 13's, and I hit the 13.89 in late October when the weather was near freezing. I'm very curious to see how this combo will run.

Got a new Quickfuel carb & I ran a best of 13.50 @103.09 today.I think shes got a little more in her with some fine tuning & also had a tough time hooking up.
