    Rick,
I hope you know that if The Wildcat nation goes Global, It just seems natural that you will have to do the taxes for all of us....for FREE :laugh:I also
Think John Cain should worry or whoever the Dems put up as the next Presidential hopeful that the "Wildcat Nation's Grand PooBah" might be lurking too take over........ The Grand Poobah of the Wildcat Nation first...... and then.......THE WORLD!! Will this Madman ever stop?

P.S. Who has the minutes from the last meeting?

Mark and Ted, Thanks for the words of encouragement, I am trying to get her back to her glory days, with a few enhancements, I just need to get deeper pockets:dollar: and also I need to get my last two children set up to take on the world on their own! BUT! one day she will rise from the ashes and be the MIGHTY Cat that she once was! Mark.. I too have a vision for her and yes I have had my doubts at times along with the critic's telling me that I am nuts, But as you said in so many words anyone can rebuild a Ford or Chevy...but to breathe life back in to a Buick is a very noble cause and it will be one of the few full size Buicks at the car shows!
Plus the fact I like being different, I think we Buick owners are not followers but Leaders. :Smarty:

Yes the one with the banditos. I would need an email adress to send it to. I can't seem to get it to go on this sight.

Well, we're working out the details (blasted extra postage to the Great White North), then I'll have to change my signature to include some W.O.T.ty remark...right now, I have only one.

Don, if you check out my Wildcat page, you will see one or two before photos...one local car guy said it was too rusty to restore. The body shop manager, who's been in the business for 30 years, said this was the most extensive project they've undertaken (and I'm really pleased with their work). Like anything in project management, there is the triple constraint of time, resources (often money), and product (i.e. quality, scope of project). If you don't have all three, you will need to choose which to sacrifice - time is the one that usually wins (i.e. takes longer).

My Wildcat is reasonably nice now. We drove it the 1100 mile round trip to Rochester, MN in 2006 to the BCA National and got a driven award. I've had an issue with the fuel tank ventilation and pancaked the gas tank last spring. That's been fixed up (well the gas tank, not the ventilation yet), as well as the upholstery. I've hooked up with WildBill and hopefully I'll be able to obtain some of the missing / damaged parts for the car. It is my intent to have it judged at the BCA National in Colorado Springs in 2009. At present, I think it would go bronze with mandatory deductions for the radial tires. I have a set of road wheels on the way...once those arrive and are cleaned up, the radials will go on them for driving around, and I'll get a set of bias plys for the plain steel wheels for judging. That alone should take it to a silver. Hopefully with a few bits and pieces and elbow grease I hope to take it to gold status.

I got this car before my wife...I'd better not finish that statement.

I started another thread regarding the '64 Wildcat I'm considering...I like it, but it's been sitting for many years, so I don't know what sort of shape the underpinnings are like...that and they want a bit more money than I think the car is worth.
